SafeCompanion sends safety notifications only as Expo push notifications to accounts that explicitly accept a six-character contact-link code. Contacts must install the app and enable notifications. We do not use phone-number matching or text-message delivery for safety notifications.
SafeCompanion is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for calling 911 or your local emergency number.
